Some stories begin with a camera. Others begin with a conversation.
For more than a decade, CKP Studio has partnered with MS Consultants, capturing the spaces they design through architectural photography. As the partnership has grown, so has the way those stories are told.
Today, the focus extends beyond finished projects to the people behind them.
On a recent production, CKP Studio captured a series of interviews highlighting not just what MS Consultants builds, but how its team thinks, solves problems, and serves clients.
For CKP Studio, that's where storytelling begins.

"Over the last year and a half, they've gone from photographing people and projects to actually telling stories about their projects—and about the people behind the scenes and how they work through their design process," said CKP Studio owner Cory Klein. "It's really cool to capture them talking about the things they have to think about and the problems they solve every day."
That approach starts long before production day. It starts with listening.
"We're all very collaborative," says videographer Marshall Evan Skinner. "We like an open environment so our clients feel like they're getting what they want, while we can bring our professional perspective when it's needed. Being client-focused means good communication—staying on top of deadlines, managing the schedule, and making sure everyone knows what's happening."
Strong communication builds something every successful production depends on: trust.

Whether someone is comfortable on camera or stepping in front of one for the first time, photographer Kyle Widder believes authenticity comes from helping people feel at ease.
"I love working with people," he says. "I enjoy helping bring out their personality and emotion. A lot of people come in feeling uncomfortable being photographed, and I love seeing them leave happy and confident with the final result."
That people-first approach is one reason clients continue to return.
